💰 Amazon’s Wealth

I bought 14 shares of Amazon Stock in 2011 for $1,953. And now that is worth more than $42,000!

I understand my privilege made that possible. But I don’t even work there. Imagine how much employee stock options and other private investments are worth.

Think about how much money I made there compared to the small ask of our poorest community members. Think about what the community could have done some of that money. And then look at the homelessness in Seattle and how taxing companies like Amazon is definitely not the right solution..........

Please share this freely and factor into any conversation about wealth inequality or really any conversation, I’m against this whole system.
