Turn off Autoplay on Fire TV

Amazon Fire TV now automatically plays video ads when you turn your TV on 👎🏻

You can stop these shenanigans from happening by not allowing video or audio to autoplay.

Settings > Preferences > Feature Content

✅ Turn OFF Allow Video Autoplay

✅ Turn OFF Allow Audio Autoplay

Global Preferences

✅ Do not autoplay any videos

✅ Autoplay music if my speakers are on

✅ Pause music when playing videos
