Liberty and justice for Everyone

Most cities are “Blue” because city people are exposed to all walks of life, and regardless of religious background, most choose a stance akin to “love thy neighbor”. As such, cities seek to be welcoming and fair for all and to address issues like housing and addiction that are the result of income inequality.

City policies are not flawless, but they are the result of community discussion and concensus and aim to be ethical and empathetic. Military occupation and warrantless arrest can certainly put an end to violence at the same time as it puts an end to liberty and justice for all.
